The commissioning of a fully automated forging line in 2014 was a huge step towards automation. The core element of the line is a hydraulic press with a press capacity of 3,500 tonnes, which is particularly suited for large and complex geometries.
In the first quarter of 2015, a new, fully automated pickling line and crack testing unit for the non-destructive testing of materials complying with automotive as well as aerospace standards was commissioned.
